SIX Financial Information Chooses Proact

SIX Financial Information is the third biggest supplier of financial information in Europe and a leader in its field in the Nordic region.

The storage system from Proact IT Group AB which SIX has just commissioned for its Nordic operations is an adaptive flash solution where performance is delivered and scaled by the CPU.

“We view this as the next step in storage, and the excellent price-performance ratio was the main reason why we chose the solution from Nimble Storage, Inc. and Proact,” says Niclas Gustafsson, head of IT services, SIX Financial Information Sweden.

SIX uses a number of different storage platforms in parallel, and a number of business-critical applications have been added to the new storage system right from the outset. This storage system has a broad field of application, providing support to ongoing operations as well as for development and testing.
