Colt Implementing SolidFire All-SSD System

SolidFire, Inc. announced that Colt Technology Services Group Ltd
has selected SolidFire to fuel its performance-guaranteed shared storage
service for enterprises across Europe.

After a competitive evaluation of new and legacy storage providers, Colt
selected SolidFire to support their shared storage
services. Fueled by SolidFire’s guaranteed QoS, the
offerings will enable Colt enterprise customers to tailor application
performance, while eliminating performance variability entirely.
The service complements Colt’s enterprise class cloud services and will
be deployed across Colt’s European data centers.

The combination of Colt’s network and IT infrastructure, bolstered by
SolidFire’s guaranteed QoS functionality, gives Colt a
competitive advantage. Colt currently has a large enterprise class cloud
footprint in Europe, offering a range of network, communications and IT
services across its 20 data centers. With the addition of SolidFire’s all-SSD
storage infrastructure, Colt customers will now have access to services that
deliver guaranteed performance, opening up the opportunity to deliver a
number of business critical and performance sensitive applications from a cloud
infrastructure.

SolidFire all-SSD storage solutions are built around the

services. Integrated with Colt’s service portal, customers can
independently customize capacity and performance resources by
