Atto Expands 12Gb ExpressSAS HBA Line

Atto Technology, Inc. has its line of 12Gb ExpressSAS HBAs with three new models.

Each of these products provide both internal and external ports for connecting up to 2,048 devices all while consuming a single PCIe slot. For HPC environments, these low profile adapters offer more flexibility for connecting storage – JBOD, RAID storage, tape, SSD and HDD – all on the same adapter.

ExpressSAS HBAs features :

• Low power consumption: They use up to 40% less power than others to reduce energy costs and are compliant with PCIe 25W power specifications. Expands system performance resources to extend processing capabilities, which is important in virtualized environments.

• Power center pro RAID: Integrates RAID-0, -1,- 1e and -10 into select model 12Gb HBAs to provide easy to continue, easy to manage RAID capabilities. Copled with Advanced Data Streaming (ADS) for managed data acceleration, consistently high bandwidth and data protection.

• 16-port connectivity for large infrastructures: For the most complex storage ecosystems, 16-port 12Gb HBAs provide internal and external connectivity to provide low latency, and high density connections.

• Interoperability: Hundreds of product certifications with dozens of partners, for hardware and software applications including, disk storage devices, removable tape, optical storage, HDDs, and SSDs.
