$150 Rebate Program by Corning on Thunderbolt Optical Cables

Optical Cables by Corning, Inc. introduced a $150 rebate program with LaCie and Magma at the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas, NE.

With the purchase of a Thunderbolt enabled device from LaCie or Magma and a Thunderbolt Optical Cable by Corning, users can save up to $150.

Qualifying devices include the LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt 2, Little Big Disk Thunderbolt Series, d2 USB 3.0 Thunderbolt Series, 2big Thunderbolt Series, 5big Thunderbolt Series, eSATA Hub Thunderbolt Series, Magma ExpressBox 1T, ExpressBox 3T, ExpressBox 3T storage bays and the ROBEN-3 rackmount expansion chassis.
 
Optical Cables by Corning offers all-optical fiber cables for the Thunderbolt community, available in lengths spanning up to 60 meters. These cables allow users to connect computers and peripherals at speeds up to 10Gb/s through Thunderbolt technology and up to 20Gb/s through Thunderbolt 2. The cables are thin, light and tough – they can be bent, squeezed, and tangled. They are also 50% smaller, 80% lighter, and still stronger than comparable copper cables.
