Smarsh, Inc. announced an enhanced version of its cloud-based Web Archiving solution.

Customers use Web Archiving to retain web content from any point in time in an indexed, search-ready state. The latest version introduces an enhanced supervision workflow that enables organizations to monitor and track changes in content, and document reviews of archived web pages, combined with a new user interface designed for efficiency.

As part of the enhanced supervision workflow, users can document content status (‘reviewed’ or ‘open’), flag content for further review or as a violation, and add notes. Statuses and flags can be updated one at a time, or in bulk, and used as search criteria (for example, a reviewer can search for pages annotated with a specific tag). In addition, an audit trail documents all review activities and actions taken, so customers have evidence of supervision.
