Node4 Relaunches Replicated DR Service With NetApp Support

Node4 Ltd has relaunched its Replicated DR Service (RDRS) underpinned by NetApp, Inc. ‘s infrastructure.

The support of NetApp for Node4’s RDRS means that is able to offer a joined up solution for businesses with pre-existing NetApp infrastructure, or those looking to deploy NetApp on-premises, including supplying equipment, ongoing management and protection.

NetApp is a storage technology – offering the scalable technology, with the simplest administration and management. Node4 have added these capabilities to its portfolio following investment in NetApp technology. Through the acquisition of LETN Solutions in August 2014, Node4 is an accredited NetApp Gold Partner – offering equipment and a range of specialist services, including backup, support and managed services for NetApp.

Node4 Replicated DR provides several tailored levels of protection for businesses’ critical applications and data. Node4 designs protection services specifically matched to the requirements of individual businesses. Using its IaaS platform, Node4 can replicate servers and data to one or more of its Data Centres and failover within an agreed time.

Levels protection available through Node4’s RDRS:

  • Off-site data replication

  • Off-site data replication and server image replication with server cold start

  • Site-to-site infrastructure replication with server cold start

  • Site-to-site infrastructure replication with automated failover (typically 15 minutes)
