Infrascale Said to Crack DR Cost Barrier

Infrascale, Inc. announced the general release of the Cloud Failover Appliance (CFA).

This all-in-one DR as a service (DRaaS) solution offers push-button failover, enabling any company to continue operations in the wake of a server failure, application outage, or natural disaster.

These issues were echoed in a report published today by ActualTech Media in which the perceived high cost of DR was listed as the number one inhibitor to DRaaS adoption for 36% of respondents and the most important purchase criterion. Lack of IT resources and solution complexity were also listed as barriers to adoption.
