Record 4Q14 for Atlantis Computing

Several new customers and executives

Atlantis Computing, Inc. announced a record fourth quarter and the addition of several new blue chip customers across global markets.

The company launched its Certified Partner Program that provides a set of benefits to resellers and distributors who demonstrate commitment and provide consistent value to customers. The program offers three levels with partners tiered into Platinum, Gold and Silver levels based on their revenue attainment, certifications and commitment. Each receives corresponding levels of marketing and sales support.

Atlantis appointed CTO and founder, Chetan Venkatesh, to president and CEO, added seasoned industry veterans in critical executive roles and expanded its global sales and marketing management teams in anticipation of even stronger growth in 2015.

In 2015, Atlantis will drive a stake in the ground with software-defined storage as more than just a transformative technology. We will leverage the disruptive potential of SDS in how we go to market, partner with key ecosystem players and ultimately bring value to our customers in ways traditional storage vendors cannot match or compete,” said Venkatesh. “Our new management team is the most well rounded, experienced and motivated I have ever seen. We have attracted the best in the industry and are on a trajectory that will be radical. It will be something never before attempted in primary storage.”

Atlantis USX
A significant portion of company’s growth was generated through market adoption of its USX platform, a SDS solution that delivers the performance of an all-flash array at half the cost of traditional SAN or NAS. Atlantis drives down costs through intelligent, non-disruptive data optimization software that pools and virtualizes any storage. Customers are able to address increasing capacity demands and provide flash-like performance across the datacenter leveraging their current storage investments or adding new hyper-converged storage architectures that migrate customers to the datacenter of the future. The company’s patented data mobility services reduce latency, moving virtual workloads between storage systems, datacenters and the cloud ins.

USX features its HyperDup Content-Aware Data Services that leverage Atlantis real-time deduplication technology to provide data reduction, IO acceleration, data management, data mobility, security and unified storage across all datacenter storage.

Atlantis Certified Partner Program
It is a global business framework designed to meet the needs of partners that go to market with Atlantis. The partner network includes more than 300 solution partners worldwide and strategic go-to-market partners including Cisco, Citrix, Dell, HP, IBM, SanDisk and VMware. The program includes distributors and VARs that resell or integrate Atlantis products and solutions for enterprise customers.

The program offers a range of sales tools, technical tools, training, certifications and rewards that ensure mutual success. Together, Atlantis with its partners delivers the storage capacity, performance and virtualization needed to change the economics of customer data centers.

Our customers are looking for new storage solutions that accelerate workloads and provide a lower TCO,” said Trent Dilkie, CTO of Gibraltar Solutions, an Atlantis Gold Partner. “With Atlantis USX we’re able to utilize existing storage investments and integrate a new, innovative solution that offers unique value to our customers and leverages our services capabilities.

MTM’s strategic alliances with ecosystem technology innovators are designed to deliver a holistic business and IT vision to our customers,” said Bill Kleyman, director of strategy and innovation, MTechnologies, Inc., an Atlantis Gold Partner. “Atlantis continues to raise the bar with its solutions and services, offering the one of the industry’s best blends of performance, capacity and flexibility – and one of the most aligned relationships with its partners. We are thrilled to be among the Atlantis Gold.

Certified Partner Program designed to help partners

  • Generate New Revenue from Existing Customers – Partners can use USX to help their customers deliver all-flash performance with current storage and use existing server platforms to create hyper-converged systems. Selling USX increases partner revenue by increasing success rates in competitive bids and delivering greater customer value.
  • Win New Business – Gain an ‘unfair advantage’ over competitive offerings by using USX to deliver better performance at up to a 60% lower total cost, while at the same time increasing overall margins. USX allows partners to leverage their existing server and storage relationships to create powerful storage offerings that slash overall storage costs for the customers while accelerating storage performance.
  • Become Trusted Expert – USX helps transform partners into trusted customer experts by helping them outbid competitors (better cost/value) and deliver enhanced, optimized performance. Customers can implement the technology that solves tactical storage problems today, makes a strategic move towards hyper-converged and helps migrate over time to hybrid cloud storage.
  • Increase Services Revenue – As a software solution, USX generates opportunities for services revenue and enables partners to sell more services and software as well as assist customers with DR and cloud storage projects that allow them to become a valued extension of a customer’s IT environment. USX can be paired with any server or storage system to create a differentiated offering. For example, partners can offer a hyper-converged solution based on the HP, IBM, Lenovo, Cisco or Dell server platforms they already sell.
