AdvisorVault, Inc., in 17a-4 backup, has launched a re-designed website.

AdvisorVault
Designed to give small FINRA firms up-to-date tools to tackle data compliance demands, the site was created to clarify what firms need in order to properly outsource the remote backup and archiving of electronic records.

The site, designed for broker-dealers, RIAs, and other independent wealth management firms, contains detailed guides, downloads, and documentation to help fulfill SEC rule 17a-4, with the goal of keeping data compliant costs as low as possible while ensuring auditor satisfaction.

SEC rule 17a-4 is the de facto piece of legislation used by everyone in the industry,” said Allan Lonz, president, AdvisorVault. “Compliance officers, regulators, tech staff and third party providers use 17a-4 as their guide. However, the rule is complex; it spans over 65 pages with dozens of updates and amendments. Our new site brings it all together, providing everything needed to achieve 17a-4 compliance.
