New Boston, MA Office for Scality

Scality’s Boston R&D Center is in the heart of Kendall Square, the hub for innovation in the greater Boston area.
Demand for reliable, scalable storage solutions is at an all-time high. This demand is underscored by a record 2014 for Scality during which the company grew its business by 250%.
Since July 2014, Scality has expanded from 78 to 135 employees, an increase of 73%, and announced a major global distribution agreement with HP.
Led by Jim Yang, senior manager and Boston Development Center Engineering lead, the company’s Cambridge office will continue the engineering of Scality and develop new features in the Scality RING product, and will add ten new hires in 2015 with a specific focus on development and engineering roles. The site will further double in 2016.
“Our East Coast expansion will allow us to build out our engineering team through recruiting top IT and software engineering professionals as well as recruiting talent from some of the most reputable universities in the country,” said Dan Green, VP of engineering. “Our team recognizes the innovation emerging from the Greater Boston area and knew Kendall Square was the right place for the company to expand as we continue to transform the storage industry.”
