Nakivo: 53% Increase Bookings From 2014 to 2015

181% Y/Y in 4Q15 in Americas

NAKIVO Inc. announced Q4 2015 and 2015 annual results.

The company is delivering a new way for cloud providers, enterprises, and SMBs to backup and replicate their VMware infrastructure more reliably, efficiently, and cost effectively.

In 2015, the firm has achieved the following:

Bookings
In Q4 2015, it has accelerated its growth and market penetration in Americas with a 181% increase in bookings vs. Q4 2014. The worldwide bookings growth increased by 58% in Q4 2015 vs. Q4 2014. Most of the Q4 bookings (51%) came from the EMEA region, while 38% came from the Americas, and 11% came from Asia. The company has also demonstrated high 2015 annual results: the company has achieved 53% increase in worldwide bookings vs. 2014, demonstrating rapid customer adoption and fast pace growth in the VMware data protection market.

Customers
In 2015, most of the customers came from the EMEA region (54%), while 35% came from the Americas, and 11% came from Asia. Solution Partners
NAKIVO has increased the number of its solution partners in 2015 vs. 2014. Over 1,000 VMware resellers from 111 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle-East, and Asia have joined NAKIVO partner program and offer NAKIVO products to their SMB and enterprise customers. In 2015, NAKIVO has expanded into new countries, such as Serbia, Tanzania, Puerto Rico, and Iceland. In 2015, the firm has further strengthened its worldwide presence by partnering with the companies across the globe, including Huawei and European IT Distribution GmbH.

Cloud Providers
NAKIVO continues to grow its cloud provider ecosystem: over 100 VMware service providers from 37 countries have joined NAKIVO cloud Provider program and deliver VM Backup-as-a-Service, VM Replication-as-a-Service, and VM Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service to their customers using NAKIVO Backup & Replication. Some of the cloud providers include Armstrong Labs (a cloud and IT services provider in Australia enables VM Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service for multiple customers) and ESU5 (an educational agency in Nebraska, United States saves at least 50% of VM backup costs within several Nebraska schools).

Product
During 2015, NAKIVO has released the following main product versions:

  • v5.9 featuring the ability to install NAKIVO on supported Synology NAS models to create a simple and affordable VM backup appliance with up to 1.7X the VM backup performance.
  • v5.8 featuring the ability to install NAKIVO on Western Digital My cloud DL NAS series, thus creating a simple, fast, and affordable VM backup appliance, which can be used onsite and offsite.
  • v5.7 featuring backup repository encryption and support for vSphere v6.
  • v5.6 featuring screenshot verification, configuration export and import, and new report types.
  • v5.5 featuring instant object recovery for Microsoft Active Directory, and execution of pre and post job scripts.
