Kaminario Grew Customer Roster by 150%

And triples size of company in last five quarters

Kaminario Technologies, Ltd announced a year of strong global growth, adding 65 new partners to its Accelerate channel program and tripling the size of the company in the last five quarters.

The company has also launched its advanced storage array to date, K2 v5.5, signed on a number of major customers and opened its new North American HQs, establishing the company as one of the top players in the all-flash array market.

Kaminario’s growth in 2015 demonstrates proof of the all-flash revolution, as companies replace their legacy systems in favour of the highly scalable and flexible flash-based systems,” said Dani Golan, founder and CEO, Kaminario. “We have seen marked increase in activity from SaaS-based businesses. Kaminario provides a cost-efficient architecture and ability to deliver consistently high performance under demanding application requirements, making us an ideal fit for this market. We intend to extend our focus to become the primary flash storage provider to SaaS and online businesses.”

Additional milestones for Kaminario in 2015 include:

  • Increased the number of employees, tripling the size of the company in the last five quarters. Key additions include Ken Dougherty, VP sales for North America; Mick Bradley, VP and GM of EMEA; Rick Ruskin, VP of North American channels; Tom O’Neil, CTO of EMEA, and Josh Epstein, VP of global marketing
  • Grew its customer roster by 150%. Notable customer wins include Clarizen, a work management and project management software company and Payoneer, a global payments company
  • Doubled the square footage of its Israel-based R&D centre, opened a new EMEA HQs in the UK, and opened an 8,000 square-foot HQs in Needham, MA
  • Released a scale-up and scale-out all-flash solution, K2 v5.5, a cost-efficient all-flash array with an average price of less than $1/GB
  • Added 30 new channel partners in the last six months alone under the Kaminario Accelerate Partner Program, including CMS Distribution, Four Points Technology, Alliance Technology Group, LLC and Tego Data Systems
  • Recognised as a ‘Visionary’ in Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrants for SSD Arrays
