OEM Agreement Between Bitam and TSI

To offer tape virtualization for HP NonStop customers
Bitam announced it has entered into an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Tributary Systems (TSI). Under the terms of the agreement, TSI will integrate Bitam's business intelligence solution into their Virtual Integrated Tape and Library Solution ViTAL, an integrated tape virtualization solution, designed for HP NonStop customers. The integrated solution will not only allow storage network managers to view backup and recovery operations with real-time analytical dashboards but also manage their entire IT environment with a business intelligence tool designed for their environment.
"Managing storage has never been more complex and it is critical for daily operations and business strategy," said Shawn Sabanayagam, president and CEO of Tributary Systems, Inc. "TSI selected Bitam as its Enterprise Performance Management partner because of its high quality, low cost, feature rich software."
"Our partnership with TSI enables us to offer customers a high-performance, high quality visualization solution integrated with our BI solutions for an end-to-end view of the client's storage environment and all its elements," said David Abdo, CEO of Bitam.
Clients will have a single view of their storage and IT environment on a dashboard screen, allowing them to graphically see data transfer rates, CPU usage, fault and error monitoring, total enterprise data backup and restore performance, infrastructure capacity utilization for both charge-back and future capacity planning as well as other key metrics enabling storage and IT managers to manage their entire storage and datacenter operations. Storage dashboards simplify storage administration, enable future growth analysis, minimize service interruptions, lower cost of operations, and reduce the amount of time it takes to perform many storage network operations.
