Up to 72TB in 4U with 24 dual-ported SAS/SATA/SSD bays
Servers requiring high-bandwidth access, such as database applications, can now share storage with less demanding or more distant access through inexpensive iSCSI connections.
The JetStor 724iF RAID management software simplifies deployment and administration of hybrid FC and iSCSI storage through a single unified view, enabling dynamic provisioning to each application appropriate to its connectivity requirements. Administrators can now implement volume-level data protection for both FC and iSCSI SANs through writeable snapshots, Windows VSS support, JetStor Replica remote replication and volume cloning.
JetStor 724iF Hybrid RAID systems support up to 72TB in 4U with 24 dual-ported SAS/SATA/SSD bays. Dual-path 6Gb/s SAS expansion ports enable plug-and-play storage growth to 216TB in 12U with 24-bay JBOD units. A green footprint is maintained through OOB staggered drive spin-up, auto disk spin-down, intelligent fan and thermal management, and 80 PLUS energy-efficient power supplies.
Performance is delivered through Xeon 64-bit processors, parity-assist ASICs, iSCSI-assist and TCP offload engines, and four to eight gigabytes of cache, for maximum bandwidth to four 8Gb/s FC and two 1Gb/s iSCSI ports per redundant controller. High-availability features including a cableless and redundant/fail-over design, dual redundant RAID controllers in the JetStor 724iFD, RAID-6 and -60 with data protection, multi-path support and modular components for a short MTTR.
JetStor systems are backed by a three year warranty covering all components, including optional cross-shipment of replacements.
