For 32- and 64-bit Windows
Synetic Inc., a Canadian storage manufacturer and distributor, released its first own branded iSCSI Target software for 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft OS.
Syne-iSCSI-WT32/64 (Windows Target) has been designed and developed over years by iSCSI protocol engineers and it is based on the latest compliance with RFC3720 and IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standards. It offers data storage management over IP with performance, reliability and low TCO . By allowing data storage access over IP at block level, Syne-iSCSI-WT offers features and benefits of large-scale data storage architectures at a reduced complexity and price.
Consistent with Synetic's philosophy of non-proprietary systems, Syne-iSCSI-WT iSCSI Target, has been developed to work with other operating systems such as VMWare, Linux, Citrix and some Unix bases and can act as the base iSCSI Target for data storage management in non-Windows infrastructures. As different initiators become available for other operating systems over time, it will be able to adapt them and offer data storage integration and consolidation for multi-platform environments.
In addition Syne-iSCSI-WT offers:
Synetic products are offered directly to its customers via the company's website or through its partners and resellers in North America and around the globe.
