NTP Software Storage M&A Version 6.0 Available

NTP Software announced the availability of the latest release of NTP Software Storage M&A.
This release provides customers with NTP Software's latest technology and includes the following new benefits:
In addition, NTP Software Storage M&A now presents a more sophisticated view of storage environments by separately assessing their health and their risk. An automated assessment of storage health is presented as a summary health index, with drill down to components such as waste, duplication, composition and staleness. The assessment of storage risk has been expanded to include drill down from a summary risk index to components on capacity, accessibility, host, and access.
Also this version includes new agents with enhanced performance for the NetApp and EMC platforms. Reporting has also been made more flexible in that customers can now designate file types they consider to be non-standard in their environment for enhanced analysis.
"It is very difficult for companies to fully understand what is going on in their storage environment and make informed decisions. There is just too much data to interpret manually," said Bruce Backa, CEO of NTP Software. "We developed and enhanced Storage M&A to provide our customers with an automated heuristic-based solution that provides the analysis and insights needed to address immediate issues and plan for future requirements."
