NTP Software Brings Out File Intelligence

NTP Software launches File Intelligence that enables organizations to support corporate governance and regulatory compliance, respond to litigation issues, and lower the risk of digital asset and IP theft while reducing audit-related administrative costs.
File Intelligence gives storage professionals real-time, automated, policy-based, scalable file auditing and control across multiple sites, showing granular file use across different storage brands and tiers. It can produce user and directory audit reports for every create, open, save, delete, move, and rename operation so organizations can document exactly who has done what to which files and when. File Intelligence can also produce reports highlighting potential risks in the file data environment, including unintended entitlements, so that only those with a legitimate need have access to valuable data. It helps gain control over the use of sensitive data, helps to prohibit dangerous actions, and discovers and restricts risky end users.
