NTP Integrates AutoVirt Software

For managing files in virtualized environments
NTP Software and AutoVirt announced a partnership between the two companies. Under the terms of the agreement, NTP will integrate AutoVirt software into its file data management and governance solutions in order to provide customers with an unparalleled, end-to-end methodology for managing file data in virtualized environments.
As the amount of file data increases exponentially, it becomes vital for business operations to implement effective storage management solutions. However, as more and more organizations use virtualization technologies to improve the efficiency and availability of storage resources, transparent and cost-effective management of storage infrastructure and file data becomes increasingly difficult to achieve.
With an integrated solution using NTP Software and AutoVirt technologies, customers are now able to control and manage their unstructured data seamlessly in a virtualized environment. Migration and data movement happen behind the scenes, with no need to adjust policies or worry about lapses in protection.
