Two New MTI Services: Cloud and Care

MTI Care provides for the remote monitoring, alerting and analysis of client infrastructure, enabling early notification of potential problems and the ability to address those problems without impacting client business. MTI Care's service offering utilises the Nimsoft Monitoring System (NMS). MTI Care will be available for the remote monitoring of clients' virtualised environments, servers, operating systems, networks, storage, back-up and Vblock Infrastructure Packages.
Separately, MTI has adopted EMC Atmos storage platform for the provision of services under the MTI Cloud brand. MTI Cloud's new offering will include enabling storage, data archiving and tape cloning as a service.
MTI provides all of its services through its MTI Insight services division. This announcement adds MTI Care and MTI Cloud to the group's existing service brands MTI Consult (which provides consultancy services) and MTI Create (providing project services).
Tony Conway, Vice-President of Services at MTI comments: "MTI Care and MTI Cloud complement and expand our existing service offering and allow us to remain at the forefront of the European cloud infrastructure industry. Nimsoft was only recently released for the complete monitoring of Vblock Infrastructure Packages so we are at the forefront of this industry initiative by making it available to our clients."
Aad Dekkers, MTI's Chief Marketing Officer said: "We're excited to be leveraging the EMC Atmos platform as part of our commitment to providing MTI Cloud services. We believe these service offerings will provide significant value to customers who are looking to drive down the cost of securely storing and archiving their corporate data."
MTI launched both MTI Care and MTI Cloud at IPExpo, London, on 20 October 2010.
