A $49 utility to erase data beyond recovery
File Shredder, launched by Disk Doctors Labs, Inc., is a desktop tool that can be used to securely erase important files and wipe all its traces from any windows based operating environment.
This powerful utility will not just shred files but also removes all its file system traces like file name, date and other attributes beyond recovery. This utility is extremely easy to install and use, it integrates into the windows context menu (right click) and also features a unique mechanism to automate shredding a user specified time intervals. Another important function that this provides is cleaning free space of the drive thus leaving no traces of sensitive critical data. Shredding patterns offered by Disk Doctors File Shredder exceeds the standards of DOD USA and offers 9 Shredding standards, some of which are several military and government shredding patterns to shred data.
A 15 days fully functional free trial version of the software can be downloaded and after 15 days of free evaluation users can purchase it for just $49.
