IDrive Online Backup Beats EMC

Pro Softnet Corporation, Storage-as-a-Service, Online Backup and Storage market, announced that IDrive online backup continued its growth course registering robust growth for the first 9 months of the year. IDrive's subscriber count tripled in the last three quarters of 2008 compared to same period last year.
"We have observed a rapid adoption of online backup among consumers and Small Business and have expanded our floor space at our existing data centers. We now host multiple petabytes of online backup data," says Kushagra Bhatia, Infrastructure Manager at Pro Softnet Corporation. Data is hosted in world-class SAS 70 certified data centers. These world-class facilities are custom designed with raised floors, HVAC temperature control systems with separate cooling zones and seismically braced racks. They offer the widest range of physical security features, including state-of-the-art smoke detection and fire suppression systems, motion sensors, 24 X 7 secured access, video camera surveillance and security breach alarms.
