Victor Perez President and CEO, Revinetix

Revinetix announced that its board of directors has named Victor M. Perez to serve as the company's chief executive officer and president.
Perez has more than 25 years of global executive leadership with an extensive track record of growing revenues, forging partnerships with industry leaders and building highly effective global teams. Previously, Perez has served as CEO and president of Panasas, provider of parallel storage software solutions, CEO and president of Chaparral Network Storage Corporation, a storage appliance innovator, and chief operating officer of StorageTek, a $2 billion computer storage company. Perez also serves as a board member of Massively Parallel Technologies Inc., a storage software company. Victor earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Catholic University of Puerto Rico and completed various executive management programs at Harvard University.
Max Ackerman, Revinetix' chairman and founder, said that the Revinetix board selected Perez based on his track record of growing revenues, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.
"Victor came to our attention because of his strong execution skills, his proven ability to lead top performing teams and his track record in driving shareholder value. He demonstrated these skills in leading multiple storage companies to profitability, including Panasas, Chaparral Network Storage, and StorageTek. As we got to know Victor, we were impressed by his emphasis on developing internal talent while reaching outside for new skills, his understanding of applying technology to solve customer problems and his personal integrity. Additionally, his straightforward style has won the respect of employees, customers and investors," continued Ackerman.
Perez said: "Revinetix is a great company with great customers and a history of providing innovative solutions that help customers solve their data protection challenges. It's a great honor to join its leadership team as Revinetix accelerates customer adoption of next generation data protection systems."
Perez will take up his new duties immediately. He succeeds Thomas G. Hogan, who will continue to serve as a member of Revinetix' board.
