SEPATON, Inc. announced new executive
level appointments.
Al Lanzetta joined SEPATON as vice president of operations and services.
Fidelma Russo has been promoted to chief operating officer.
Both executives will report directly to President and CEO Mike Worhach.
Lanzetta will oversee the worldwide manufacturing, service and support of SEPATON’s data protection solutions. Russo will lead the company’s Business Management Teams with responsibility for the design, development and operational efficiencies required to deliver SEPATON’s data protection products and services. She will also drive new go-to-market activities and oversee strategic partnerships. Additionally, Russo will continue to serve as the head of the company’s engineering and development organization.

His focus on delivering customer satisfaction and building world-class services organizations demonstrates he has the leadership skills necessary to manage the growth in our business.”
Worhach continued: “Fidelma has spear-headed the continuing technical advancements of our innovative DeltaScale software architecture. Her talent and experience have proven invaluable. Under her leadership, our engineering organization has delivered product excellence earning the trust and confidence of some of the largest backup and recovery sites in the world. I look forward to benefiting from her expertise as she assumes her expanded role within the company.”

Lanzetta joins SEPATON from Egenera where he served as executive vice president of operations and worldwide services on a global basis. While there he built out the Egenera technical support and professional services staff, processes and tools, creating a superior customer experience while growing revenue and income for seven consecutive years. His experience spans more than 30 years and includes executive roles at EMC and Data General running global field operations, field support, and manufacturing. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Lanzetta earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Clark University and a master of business administration degree from Babson College.
