Scott Genereux Joins DataDirect Networks After 18 Years at HDS

As senior VP of WW sales
DataDirect Networks, Inc. announced that Scott Genereux has
joined the company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and will
spearhead the company's continued revenue growth and market expansion. Genereux will be responsible for DataDirect Networks' sales across all
channels, geographies, and vertical markets.
Genereux, formerly Executive Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Support for Hitachi Data Systems, spent eighteen years at Hitachi in various engineering, marketing, support, and sales roles. Commenting on joining the team at DataDirect Networks he said, "DataDirect Networks has fantastic technology, great business momentum, a roster of world-class customers, and a strong leadership team. I'm very excited to join the company and look forward to building the sales team and driving continued growth."

Genereux's hiring comes on the heels of a record breaking 2007 in which DataDirect Networks experienced phenomenal growth and success. The company exceeded $100 million in annual revenue for the first time, and is operating profitably. Significant customer wins were achieved in all segments, including Internet services, digital media, energy, design, and government.
