DataDirect Networks, Inc. announced that Scott Genereux has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and will spearhead the company's continued revenue growth and market expansion. Genereux will be responsible for DataDirect Networks' sales across all channels, geographies, and vertical markets.

Genereux, formerly Executive Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Support for Hitachi Data Systems, spent eighteen years at Hitachi in various engineering, marketing, support, and sales roles. Commenting on joining the team at DataDirect Networks he said, "DataDirect Networks has fantastic technology, great business momentum, a roster of world-class customers, and a strong leadership team. I'm very excited to join the company and look forward to building the sales team and driving continued growth."
