Riverbed Adds to Team in US Federal Market
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on Wed, April 2nd, 2008
Bill Hartwell and Susan Keys
Hartwell joins the company as general manager and senior director, and Keys as director of business and channels development for the Federal Markets Division. In their new roles, Hartwell and Keys will leverage past experience with leading enterprise solutions providers working with federal civilian agencies, the Department of Defense and the intelligence community to help ensure that Riverbed® WDS solutions continue to meet the needs of the US federal market.
Prior to joining Riverbed, Hartwell was vice president of business and channel development of government markets at Motorola, where he developed sales, engineering, business and channel development teams to drive enterprise mobility solutions in the public sector markets. In addition, he was vice president of the federal government area at Symbol Technologies prior to its acquisition by Motorola. Prior to his tenure at Symbol, Hartwell spent eight years at Cisco where he developed senior sales, systems engineering, channels and business development teams with extensive customer and industry knowledge.
Keys also held tenure at Cisco as director of Cisco's Federal System Internet Business Solutions Group, where her role focused on providing Internet Solutions to the federal market. The solutions her group provided included developing and translating federal thought leadership into Internet solutions and communicating those requirements internally to a virtual public sector team that crossed all Internet solutions and lines of business within Cisco. Since her time at Cisco, Keys was a vice president at Oracle, where she helped lead federal consulting sales. Most recently, Keys co-founded Technology Vision Consulting, which provides Technology Enablement Services (TES) to help federal and commercial customers maximize IT investments and meet business enablement objectives.
