Michelle Vilchuck and Tony Clay Join PivotStor

They came from Quantum and Overland, respectively.
Michelle Vilchuck has been named Vice President, Operations and Support. She joins PivotStor from Quantum Corporation, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the data protection industry, where she has held various executive-level positions in Operations, Quality, Sales, Marketing and Field Support. Before joining PivotStor, Michelle was the Vice President, Sales Operations and Customer Support for Quantum, responsible for sales and marketing operations, which included OEM, Branded Account Management and Business Systems. Prior to Quantum, Michelle was Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations for Certance. She has held similar executive positions at Seagate, Conner, Archive, Olivetti and Data Products.
"Michelle knows this industry from every angle, and her experience will help us continue our growth," said Jack Corrao, PivotStor's President and Chief Operating Officer. "Beyond her knowledge of the technology, she also understands the channel; what resellers need to be successful in today's market, and what we as a vendor can do to support them at every phase. Tony Clay joins PivotStor as Director of EMEA Sales. He was previously at Overland Storage, where he built a multi-million dollar sales organization as a regional sales director, including the establishment of reseller and distribution channels. He has had similar success over more than a quarter of a century at other data protection firms, such as BakBone, Datacore, Quantum and Conner Peripherals, where he has been repeatedly responsible for introducing and selling new technologies into the channel.
"Tony has a proven track record of success at establishing presence and growing sales for data protection companies throughout Europe, Middle-East and Africa," said John Boyken, PivotStor's vice president of worldwide sales. "His addition to our sales team will accelerate our plan to market and sell our AP-Series tape libraries and EP-Series email management appliances throughout the region. His ability to identify the right Distribution and VAR partners in each country will bring significant incremental growth to PivotStor."
