Christopher Calisi COB and CEO of NetClarity

He was formerly president and CEO of Overland.

NetClarity, a provider of network access control (NACWall) products, has named Christopher Calisi as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

In his more than 25-year long career Calisi has work as a senior executive with several leading computer data integrity and security companies including Symantec.

NetClarity's EasyNAC appliances are used by many industries and governmental agencies to prevent access by malicious insiders and external hackers who can easily penetrate firewall protections. NetClarity, which sells its EasyNAC line of network access control products in 35 countries, is expanding its presence in the U.S. market while strengthening its expansion globally.

Prior to joining NetClarity, Calisi was the president and CEO of Overland Storage, a high technology company focused on data storage and integrity. Calisi was instrumental in developing Overland's tiered sales channel along with securing several tier one OEM contracts.

Earlier in his career, Calisi was the president & CEO of eHelp Corporation, a world leader in software development tools that was later acquired by Macromedia. Calisi also has held several senior executive positions with Symantec Corporation. Prior to Symantec he held various positions in sales and product development with Unify Corporation and Computer Associates.

Calisi holds a BSCS from the State University of New York and has completed management programs at both the Harvard School of Business and The Wharton School of Business.
