Adding over 100 per year for past three years
American Megatrends Inc. (AMI) announced that during 2011 the company reached a major milestone it its history by adding its 1,000th employee to its global workforce.
Over the past several years, AMI has been fortunate to experience sustained growth - in particular in developing markets in Asia with China, India and Taiwan at the forefront. At present, in addition to its corporate headquarters in Norcross, Georgia and R&D Center in Fremont, California, AMI operates branch and subsidiary offices in China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
AMI's employee enrollment has taken a jump in recent years, adding employees at a rate of over 100 per year for the past three years. AMI's ratio of employees in technical positions has remained unchanged despite its growth, reflecting the company's enduring commitment to technology leadership. To this day, still over 80% of employees are contributing to AMI in an engineering-related capacity.
