Patrick Riley Joins Alacritech as Director of Product Management

He comes from Sunrise Telecom.
Riley and his team will play a key role in shaping and caring for Alacritech’s product roadmap and managing products through their respective life cycles. With years of proven product leadership, Riley brings extensive networking technical knowledge and solid business planning skills to the company. Riley served in senior product management positions with Sunrise Telecom where he led many of the company’s initiatives, including 10GbE support. Riley holds two technical degrees including an undergraduate degree in Physics from UC San Diego and a Masters in Applied Science from UC Davis.
“Alacritech was seeking an experienced product executive with an extensive technical and marketing background in driving innovative highly differentiated products to market with engineering. Riley brings these skills and more,” said Doug Rainbolt, vice president of Marketing for Alacritech.
“A trained
physicist, Riley can talk credibly to an ASIC designer about product
requirements and also communicate high-level business benefits to a CIO
– this is a rare skill set to find and reflects the uniqueness and
