Former EMC VP of Americas inside sales division
Ed Filippine
Building on its strong third quarter consumer (Acronis True Image Home 2010) and enterprise (Acronis Backup & Recovery 10) product launches, Acronis added Filippine to oversee sales in North and South America. Filippine will report to Chief Operating Officer Helmut Heptner.
"Ed Filippine brings a distinguished track record in sales of both software and services," said Heptner. "His global growth expertise will be a tremendous asset for Acronis in 2010 and beyond."
Prior to Acronis, Filippine was Vice President, Americas Inside Sales Division at EMC Corp. He also served as a regional manager at WorldCom and the national director/sales & operations for Boston Telecommunications Co.
