Rimage Corporation and Digital Rapids have partnered to integrate their acclaimed solutions into an automated workflow for DVD encoding and production.

The partnership will help strengthen Rimage product recognition among video and media solution providers and continues the company's strategic penetration of the digital media post production market.

Within an automated encoding workflow enabled by Digital Rapids' StreamZ and StreamZHD( media encoding systems or the Digital Rapids Transcode Manager enterprise-level transcoding software, DVDs can be produced from a single media file without menus, or from multiple deck-captured media files with an automatically generated menu and chapter marks.

Upon completion of encoding, the resulting media is automatically sent to an attached Rimage Producer III or Rimage Professional Series digital publishing system with automated disc artwork printing. The combined solution is ideal for DVD publishing applications, ranging from approval and prescreening copies of production content to limited-run distribution and archive.
