Lite-On Bringing Out External Slim DVD Writer With MyDisk Suite

Software to burn iPhone and iPad images to disc
Lite-On IT Corporation announces an 8X External Slim DVD Writer with MyDisk Suite, the eNAU708.
MyDisk Suite is developed exclusively for Lite-On's eNAU708. It is a disc burning software tool.
A research was conducted on a generation of 17-45 year old individuals who share their lives and their media have difficulty finding files they have burned. The research also shows those individuals find current burning software difficult to use. MyDisk Suite requires only a few steps and incorporates a set of applications for the PC, iPad and iPhone. Applications including DiskIndex, DiskCollection, DiskCase, and DiskMobile present a new approach to disc burning. It brings together drag-and-drop disc burning, file/disc indexing, customized menus, personalized disc covers, and iPhone/iPad images burning.
"We developed MyDisk Suite for users from users' comments and suggestions gathered in the development process, making MyDisk Suite the most user-centered and user-friendly DVD burning software on the market today," says Christine Hsing, Marketing Manager for PLDS.
DiskMobile
DiskMobile allows users to wirelessly transfer iPhone and iPad images to the eNAU708 DVD Writer using a unique internet address. Once transferred, the eNAU708 will burn the transferred images onto a disc for safe-keeping and sharing. Additionally, DiskMobile can be used to backup photos against theft or loss of iPhone or iPad and free up storage space on those devices.
DiskCase
DiskCase is an iPad application offering users the option to design disc covers that are ready to use once printed onto a single sheet of paper. Creative case covers replace the dull and bland ones of the past - design an original case cover or utilize built-in templates to display a strikingly unique disc.
DiskIndex
DiskIndex burns discs with a customized auto-run menus that automatically load when a disc is inserted into a PC. Previously, when sharing files, recipients had to tediously search through the long list of files to locate the desired data, photo, or videos files. With DiskIndex, when the disc is inserted into a PC, a custom menu appears allowing the user to find and view files. Just select one of the professionally designed templates or design personalized menus to reflect individual taste, profession and lifestyle.
DiskCollection
DiskCollection is a burning software with a built-in data management solution allowing users to effectively create a personal disc database. Featuring a drag-and-drop interface, disc cover printing, disc classification and automatic contents indexing, DiskCollection makes file and disc management more efficient in three steps. First, type a brief description of the disc and drag-and-drop the files to be burned; print the disc cover; then click burn. DiskCollection automatically saves the details of each disc in its searchable index - the cover image, description and content of any disc are immediately accessible.
The eNAU708 with MyDisk Suite is available since last December with an MRSP of $49.99.
