FTI Launches its Own Professional Brand: FalconMedia Pro

Covering writable CDs, DVDs and BDs

Falcon Technologies International or FTI, a manufacturer of Professional and Archival optical data storage discs, announces the first presentation of its own professional brand “FalconMedia Pro” during CEBIT.

Since its launch of operations in late 2005, FTI was conceived and created to meet a growing need for specialized high quality optical media for the professional and high end consumer market segments. “We recognized that in such applications media failure or quality problems are not an option and embarked on creating a storage platform worthy of the valuable content that was to reside on it. We have done this with an array of best-in-class partners in the technology arena and have attained a leadership position at the cutting edge of optical disc technology”, declares Wincho Martis, VP Business and Sales Development of FTI.

“FalconMedia Pro” products are designed and qualified to meet or exceed the very stringent requirements and need professional market segments. “In commercial and professional duplication applications we recognize that the cost of disc failures, for whatever reason, far exceed the physical cost of the discs themselves. At the same time, the very high value of the content that if often recorded on the discs requires a high level of reliability and security. To this end we have oriented our operations to creating a product family that meets or exceeds the very stringent requirements and needs of the professional market segments.” “By clearly and unambiguously identifying our target customer and applications base we are able to align our complete operation to deliver value to our customers where and when they require it. We like to think that our ultimate products are quality, reliability and security,” declares Dr Derk Jan Adelerhof, FTI CTO.

The wide professional product range proposed under the “FalconMedia Pro” brand covers blank shiny Pro CD-R 48x, Pro DVDR 8x and 16x; Pro DVD+R DL 8x; Pro BDR and BDRE Single and Dual Layer,  Inkjet and Thermal solutions qualified with the most reputable printers of the market as well as a full range of 24K Gold and 24K Gold EP (Enhanced performance) CD-R and DVD-R for archival use.

FTI is continuously ramping up its capacities and capabilities to reinforce its role in the optical data storage media development and manufacturing. Furthermore the company is closely collaborating through strategic alliances and cooperation agreement with international powerful technology owners to meet all requirements for technology and product features of the next generation.
