This website provides a platform that enables solution providers to make educated decisions about vendors based on factual information.
BDRfacts.com provides a side-by-side comparison of backup and disaster recovery vendor offerings in the SMB space. Datto is committed to keeping the site unbiased and the information as truthful and up-to-date as possible.
"As a channel vendor, I feel it is our job to be straightforward and honest when informing people about our offerings. With that spirit in mind, I invite everyone to view the comparisons and correct any inaccuracies," said Austin McChord, CEO of Datto. "Many of our partners have expressed that it is difficult to understand the differences between backup vendors and this site seemed like a logical solution."
"The backup and disaster recovery industry rapidly expanded in 2011 and many new vendors have appeared in the channel. There is a lot of noise out there right now and BDRfacts.com is one way to make it easier for solution providers to get the facts they need quickly and easily," said Karen Hames, Director of Product for Datto.
If any vendor should find an inaccuracy on the site, they need to email corrections@bdrfacts.com and Datto will make the changes within 48 hours.
If a BDR vendor is not listed on the site but would like to be included in the comparison, there is a downloadable information sheet available that can be emailed to Datto for release on the site.
