Speed Dragon Selects Artimi Chips

Using Artimi's comprehensive reference design, Speed Dragon has developed a high-performance platform for a Wireless USB hard disk drive and is demonstrating their solution at this week's Computex show in Taipei.
The hard disk drive integrates a Wireless USB module, based on Artimi's unique Zero Install plug & play platform that requires no driver installation on the host PC. PC-side connectivity is provided by a plug-in USB adapter. Importantly, the solution also supports notebook PCs with integrated Wireless USB, to take advantage of the growing Wireless USB ecosystem.
The Wireless USB hard disk drive delivers high throughput, easy to use wireless data transfer, enabling fast, simple transfer and backup of files at speeds of over 100Mbps.
Artimi's reference design for the Wireless USB hard disk drive is based on the company's A-150 chip, which is certified by the USB-IF, and includes a full set of design, production and product information, designed to make integration as simple as possible.
