Weltweite höchste Verkaufszahlen für Festplatten

Für außerordentliche Leistungen wurde das Commercial Sales Team von Bell Microproducts GmbH von seinem amerikanischen Mutterkonzern geehrt. Das 'Sales-Team des Jahres 2007' steigerte den Umsatz im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 50 Prozent und den Bruttogewinn um mehr als 60 Prozent. Auch die Margen-Vorgaben wurden übertroffen. Beim Festplatten-Vertrieb von Seagate, Western Digital, Hitachi und ExcelStor erzielte die deutsche Bell Micro die weltweit höchsten Verkaufszahlen.

"Die Mitarbeiter in Neubiberg, Dreieich, Lorsch und Stuttgart arbeiten mit einem leidenschaftlichen Engagement und höchster Einsatzbereitschaft", so Graeme Watt, President World Wide Distribution. "Die exzellenten Ergebnisse spiegeln dies deutlich wider." Das HDD-Verkaufsteam habe in einem schwierigen Geschäftsjahr mit einer einmaligen Leistung dazu beigetragen, das Wachstum von Bell Micro weiter voranzutreiben. Im Festplattenbereich stieg der Umsatz von 132,9 Millionen Euro auf 199,4 Millionen Euro, der Bruttogewinn wurde von 5,8 Millionen Euro auf 9,3 Millionen erhöht.

Für den Neubiberger Value-Add-Distributoren nahm Paul Mehl, Country Manager Deutschland, die Ehrung entgegen. Neben ihm wurde im Rahmen des President’s Clubs in St. Thomas auf den Virgin Islands auch Manfred Kamp, Sales Director Deutschland des Commercial Sales Teams, ausgezeichnet.
