Aleratec 1:1 HDD PortaCruiser ($250)

A portable HDD duplicator
Aleratec, Inc. introduced a hard disk drive duplicator for professionals who want the features and power of a full-sized duplicator system in a compact, portable device.
The Aleratec 1:1 HDD PortaCruiser is both a standalone hard disk drive duplicator and a Dual Disk RAID Controller in one lightweight, portable device. In duplicator mode, the 1:1 HDD PortaCruiser duplicates either 2.5” or 3.5” SATA I/II hard disk drives, creating perfect clone hard drives.
With the optional IDE Accessories Pack (Part number 240146 sold separately), the HDD PortaCruiser is compatible with 2.5” and 3.5” IDE hard disk drives as well. You can even duplicate from an IDE drive to a SATA drive, or vice-versa! As a Dual Disk RAID Controller, the 1:1 HDD PortaCruiser can be attached to a PC through its high-speed USB 2.0 interface and used as an external storage device or hard drive backup for critical files.
The 1:1 HDD PortaCruiser is priced affordably and has a small physical form factor, weighing in at approximately 8.3oz. This makes it the smallest and lightest member of Aleratec’s award-winning HDD Duplicator family. Its 2-line LCD display gives users easy access to the device’s features, as well as important information on the status of processes. With a button push, the 1:1 HDD PortaCruiser will begin to copy a hard drive with a sector-by-sector process that includes disk partition and boot sector information. The result is an exact clone of your source hard drive. Advanced diagnostic functions such as Source Prescan and HDD Compare make your work even easier.
