KineticD Delivers DR to MTP Customers

With hybrid cloud backup
MTP will leverage KineticD's data backup and disaster recovery service platform to power its new brand specifically developed for this service called www.MyTotalProtection.com.
"We have been offering online backup for many years and KineticD's real-time continuous backup from all endpoints, the software's compatibility with all computers, the reliability of the service and the price point were key in our decision to partner with KineticD when creating our own brand," said Thomas A. Capone, MTP CEO. "Our testing of the KineticCloud Backup for Servers product began in October of 2011 and to date we have had great feedback from our customers and our own support center. We are very happy with the services KineticD has to offer giving us a competitive edge in the cloud backup and data recovery space."
KineticD's services will extend MTP's product line with a data protection solution for SMBs including remote desktop access and file sharing capabilities. Additionally MTP's customers can now take advantage of KineticD's unique unlimited local storage option that enables a true hybrid cloud backup solution. Local backups can be managed independently of backups that are protected in the KineticCloud enabling businesses to meet RTOs as well as regulatory requirements for more than one backup location. Other differentiating capabilities are agentless backups that allow for the management of all systems on a network from one console as well as granular schedule-based retention policies.
