QLogic Corp. announced that the QLogic 2500 Series of 8Gb Fibre Channel host bus adapters are qualified by EMC Corp. as E-Lab Tested for use with EMC CLARiiON, EMC Celerra and EMC Symmetrix networked storage systems. With E-Lab qualification, EMC customers can use QLogic and EMC technology to deploy highly scalable, high performance 8Gb Fibre Channel networks. The highly comprehensive E-Lab qualification process tests configurations that replicate real-world environments to help ensure customer satisfaction. In addition, EMC now offers the QLogic 2500 Series of 8Gb Fibre Channel adapters as part of its EMC Select Programme. EMC Select is designed to make it easier for customers to acquire best-in-class infrastructure products to complete their EMC storage solutions and to help enable businesses to implement information infrastructure solutions.
