QLogic 8200 Series 10GbE CNAs Interoperable

With Juniper Networks QFabric
With wire-speed performance and its suite of highly 'Flex' technologies, QLogic 8200 Series adapters combined with Juniper Networks QFabric family of products will offer organizations end-to-end convergence. Deployed together, QLogic 8200 Series adapters and Juniper's QFabric family of products provide a solution for traditional and virtualized data centers, NAS, converged server I/O, and cloud computing environments.
Juniper's QFabric system enables a new network experience by delivering a quantum leap in performance and scalability with the simplicity of managing a single logical device.
"The interoperability of QLogic 8200 Series adapters and Juniper's QFabric family of products unleashes a powerful end-to-end converged networking solution designed to improve efficiency, agility, performance and scale," said Anjan Venkatramani, vice president, Product Line Management, Juniper Networks. "As a result of this qualification, enterprises today can reap the full performance benefits of end-to-end 10GbE converged networks."
Juniper's QFabric system is interoperable, optimized for virtualization and supports both iSCSI, and FCoE.
"Like the Juniper QFabric system and QFX3500 switches, QLogic 8200 Series adapters are designed to excel in virtualized environments," said Amit Vashi, vice president of marketing, Host Solutions Group, QLogic. "The 8200 Series' unique suite of 'Flex' technologies delivers advanced virtualization services, multiple protocol offload and simultaneous protocol processing for FCoE, TCP/IP and iSCSI, making it highly suitable for QFabric system deployments."
