Other World Computing announced the OWC Slim eSATA ExpressCard Adapter, a $39.99 MSRP solution for adding a high speed 3.0Gb/s data transfer rate eSATA port to Mac and PC notebooks via an standard ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slot. Featuring a flush fitting design, the OWC Slim eSATA ExpressCard Adapter fits completely inside an ExpressCard slot and is and is AHCI compliant for Plug and Play no driver installation required ease of use.

Adding performance upgrades to a computer often requires a time-consuming internal installation. The OWC Slim eSATA ExpressCard Adapter is Plug and Play easy to use. No drivers are required and the hot swappable card can be inserted at any time into a standard ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slot. Because the card features a flush-fitting, slim design, it recesses completely into an ExpressCard slot and can be left in the slot to protect both the card and connection port during mobile notebook use.
