Arrow ECS to Deliver NetApp Syncsort in UK

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc., has signed an agreement with Syncsort to be among distributors of the NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup solution in the UK. The agreement builds on the deal the companies signed last year for North America.

NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup offers integrated data protection that goes beyond deduplication to resolve backup and recovery challenges. The solution reduces the cost and complexity associated with traditional backup architectures for heterogeneous storage and virtual environments.

In addition to providing source-side data reduction and target-side deduplication, NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup eliminates backup windows and provides disaster recovery at a 30- to 50-percent lower total cost of ownership.

NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup is available in the U.K. through Arrow ECS. Resellers that sign with Arrow ECS for the solution will also become members of Syncsort's recently announced Partner Edge Channel Program in EMEA.
