Venyu and InSite Partnership

Venyu, in commercial solutions for data protection, availability and recovery and InSite One, in medical data archiving, exchange, and business continuance solutions, announced a joint partnership aimed at helping healthcare institutions and providers manage soaring amounts of electronic medical data. Venyu, a PHNS subsidiary, also brings expansion opportunity to the partnership through geographically-diverse, SAS70 qualified, datacenters.

In the last five years, the amount of picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) imaging and traditional electronic data generated in the healthcare industry has grown exponentially. In addition, HIPPA regulations have ushered in new regulations governing how data must be protected and accessed in the event of a human or natural disaster.
