StorMagic, developer of iSCSI SAN management software for virtualized server environments, has signed more than 60 resellers since the launch of its SvSAN' storage virtual appliance a year ago.

During this time, users downloaded more than 3,000 copies of the StorMagic software. The company demonstrated its SvSAN software at VMware Partner Exchange 2010, taking place on February 8-10 in Las Vegas, Nev.

StorMagic is also revealing new features of its channel partner program with reseller incentives that include an additional discount for opportunity registration, onsite StorMagic training, as well as lead sharing. All resellers get a complimentary SupportSuite contract with access to the knowledge base, technical support and online chat. Also, they receive two SvSAN licenses with Unlimited Capacity Management and High Availability for demonstration and evaluation. During the last quarter of 2009, StorMagic announced the SvSAN HA Kit that gives organizations the shared storage they need to unlock HA features such as VMware High Availability (HA), VMware VMotion and VMware Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), maintaining online applications and constant accessibility. This announcement was very well-received by the StorMagic channel partners, who can now offer their customers more ways to take advantage of the most powerful features in their VMware environments.

After the trial period, users can purchase the HA option for $995 per node.
