Maxell Plans To Relocate U.S. HQs

To nearby facility, from Fair Lawn to Woodland Park, NJ
Maxell Corporation of America, announced plans to relocate its US corporate headquarters to a nearby facility at Garret Mountain Plaza, Building 3, Suite 300, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.
"The location, which is approximately eight miles from the current Maxell offices, was a key factor in the decision to relocate," said Len Haine, Vice President of Finance. "Convenience for our valued employees was a top priority."
The move, which is scheduled to be completed by March 1, 2010, positions the company for future growth, fueled by continued success in the OEM battery and lens markets, OEM and branded computer media markets, as well as Maxell's new strategic position in the consumer storage, security and personal mobility categories.
"We are excited about this opportunity to relocate to a facility with the functionality necessary to accommodate Maxell today and into the future," said Mr. Masaru Kamemoto, President of Maxell. "This move signifies the confidence that we have in our new products and evolving businesses."
During our many years in Fair Lawn, Maxell has been an active member of the community, contributing to food drives, soup kitchens and food pantries, as well as local shelters. Maxell plans to continue its Corporate Social Responsibilities in their new Woodland Park, NJ community.
