LaserCard Wins Vehicle Registration Card Program

LaserCard Corporation has been selected to manufacture and supply vehicle registration cards for a Middle Eastern nation. A recent $850,000 purchase order follows an initial order valued at approximately $560,000 shipped earlier this fiscal year.

This new program expands LaserCard’s footprint in the Middle East, where the Company supplies multi-technology, highly secure national ID cards for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program also marks LaserCard’s fourth vehicle registration program win, following three successful, ongoing programs for state authorities in India. The new cards are high-quality, durable documents incorporating high-resolution security printing and other innovative features.

This new vehicle registration card program underscores the Company’s continuing drive to address the varied needs of the government ID market, regardless of application and the technologies required. LaserCard also recently announced the award of a specialized, secure certification card program for professional drivers in Hungary.
