Starline C-Series From RAIDdeluxe With 32Gb FC

Starting at €3,400 for 12-bay 2U model, series including also 16-bay (3U), 24-bay LFF (4U) and 24-bay SFF (2U)

Starline Computer GmbH launches C-Series from RAIDdeluxe fibers with 32Gb FC.

Startline 32g Fc Raiddeluxe C Series Systems

A 32Gb quad host port module was launched for RAIDdeluxe’s budget series. Single and dual controller models from the C series thus offer 4 and 8 of the fast FC ports.

The workhorses from RAIDdeluxe have always been characterized by a good price-performance ratio.

Where else can the inclined IT administrator find RAID systems in the entry-level sector that are easy to configure, solidly built and can transmit 2,500MB/s? This is not the only reason why Starline is obliged to keep its own brand up to date.

With the quad host port in 32Gb FC technology, the RAID systems can now also be cost-effectively integrated into modern networks. For topologies in 16Gb technology there is no disadvantage with downward compatibility.

The upgrade concerns devices with 12 (2U), 16 (3U) and 24 LFF (4U) as well as 24 SFF (2U) drive bays from the RAIDdeluxe C series. With a built-in single controller, they offer 4 32Gb portswith a dual controller 8. Each RAID system has an expansion port that allows it to expand to a total of up to 512 drives via JBOD. Due to the 12Gb SAS technology used on the drive side, the stable storage systems can be equipped with either SAS or SATA drives. HDDs or SSDs can be used.

As an alternative to the FC version, Starline also offers the C-Series in SAS and iSCSI host configurations. All RAIDdeluxe’s FC systems have been certified for VMware, Inc. so far. Certification for the 32Gb hostboards coming soon.

The RAIDdeluxe series with 12 drive bays starts at the company website from €3,400.
