Reseller Agreement Between Acronis and VAD Lifeboat Distribution

Lifeboat Distribution, Inc., a subsidiary of Wayside Technology Group, Inc. and an international VAD for virtualization, security, BC and other technically products, and Acronis International GmbH announced a distribution agreement.

Lifeboat will offer the range of Acronis’ data protection solutions and local support to its network of VARs, system integrators, and MSPs in the US and Canada.

Under the agreement, Lifeboat will promote, distribute and support Acronis’ business and consumer products, enabling resellers to make more money by tapping into the growing demand for complete backup and recovery products in the North American region.

The partner program and a catalog with few product SKUs makes cross-selling simple to increase reseller revenue.

Acronis’ product portfolio offers data protection for business and home users. The latest solution, Acronis Backup 12.5, offers protection for all sizes of hybrid IT infrastructure. The release delivers a data protection against ransomware with automated restoration of damaged data. It also introduces technology that enables users to verify the backup integrity before its restoration, improving regulatory compliance and data integrity with blockchain. Businesses can start small with Acronis Backup 12.5 Standard edition and scale to Acronis Backup 12.5 Advanced as required by their growing infrastructure, by changing license keys. This gives partners the flexibility to meet the needs of small and large businesses with the same product.
