Storage solutions should not only be able to adapt to the growth of structured and unstructured data but also to achieve efficiency at low cost. To satisfy these demands the XCubeSAN XS1200 series products offer a diverse range solutions.

The XS1200 range of SANs include a 2U 26-bay SAN array, the XS1226, available in both dual active/active and single controller (upgradeable) versions. Host interface cards enable the XS1200 systems to offer flexibility with 10GbE ports built in, and additional 16Gb FC and 10GbE iSCSI (SFP+ and RJ45) options. The XS1200 allows hybrid interfaces, so customers can mix any two host connectivity types into a single enclosure, allowing for flexibility.

The company SANOS 4.0 is equipped with a simple to use web GUI which can be deployed into any infrastructure and comes with a selection of value-added features.

XS1200 offers power and performance:

  • Performance
The XCubeSAN XS1200 series can deliver 9,000MB/s sequential read and 4,500MB/s (1) sequential write in throughput which can support more than 1,000 cameras per system from multiple locations. High volumes of recordings are able to be streamed to NVRs for analytics and event handling. Using SAS SSD storage, the systems are capable of up to 900,000 sequential IO/s offering businesses flexibility and scalability to meet predicable and unpredicted demands

  • RAID level technology
More and more surveillance system are built around the storage system making it necessary for businesses to use storage that support SAS/SATA in a RAID format, SANOS 4.0 supports all RAID levels including RAID-0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, 60, and N-way mirror.

  • Backup features
Snapshot, local volume clone, and remote replication come as standard with the XS1200 range.

QSnap (snapshots) is the effective measurement to protect against ransomware attacks, accidental file deletion, accidental file modification, or unstable system hardware caused by bad I/O cable connection, unstable power supply, etc. Writable snapshot support and compatible with Windows VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) are feature included to provide additional data availability.

QClone (local volume clone) is used to make a duplicate copy of a volume in the same storage pool as well as in a separate storage pool within the same enclosure.

QReplica (remote replication) has many powerful capabilities including unlimited bandwidth, traffic shaping, and multiple connections per replication task. It’s a cost-effective and efficient way to perform remote backup.

  • Huge capacity solution
The XCubeSAN XS1200 storage capacity can scale-up with XCubeDAS XD5300 12Gb SAS expansion enclosures, allowing up to ten expansion units and support up to 286 drives with over 2.6PB of raw storage capacity for future data growth.

  • Super Capacitor M.2
The XCubeSAN offers BBM and Super Capacitor cache protection modules to protect data against power loss.

Built with interoperability for the most popular OSs, the XS1200 Series is a cost-effective SAN storage system. It is a solution to the support surveillance, backup and for DR in SMB demands helping to reduce both capital expenditure and achieve efficiency. The XCubeSAN 1200 series can provide more than a 50% increase in performance, thanks to the company’s technology and built-in enterprise features.
