In 2Q17, Nakivo Collected 85% More Revenue Vs. 2Q16

NAKIVO Inc., a software company for protecting virtualized and cloud environments, announced its 2Q17 results.

  • Customers: In 2Q17, NAKIVO has acquired 95% more customers than in 2Q16. Most of the new customers came from the EMEA region (62%), while 29% came from the Americas, and 9% came from the AsiaPac. As of 2Q17, NAKIVO has customers in 97 countries worldwide and has expanded into Nigeria, Lebanon, Kuwait, Antigua and Barbuda, and British Virgin Islands for the first time.
  • Revenue: In 2Q17, NAKIVO has collected 85% more revenue worldwide vs. 2Q16. In 2Q17, most of the revenue came from the EMEA region (52%), while 39% came from the Americas, and 9% came from the AsiaPac. The top three revenue producing countries were United States, Germany, and Canada.
  • Solution Partners: In 2Q17, 230 new solution providers joined NAKIVO Partner Program and now offer products to their enterprise and SMB customers. The firm now has over 1,900 software solution providers across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle-East, and AsiaPac.
  • Cloud Providers: Cloud Provider Program enables managed services, cloud, and hosting providers to introduce Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), Replication-as-a-Service (RaaS), and DR-as-a-Service (DRaaS) to their clients. In 2Q17, the company has increased the number of qualified cloud providers to 152.
  • Product Releases: In 2Q17, it has released v7.1, which includes support for Hyper-V Failover Clusters, as well as announced availability of VM backup appliances based on QNAP NAS.
